JAMES FLOYD JR
For me, photography is not just about taking pictures. Photography is about the moments, memories, creativity, and passion.
As young as I can remember, I was always surrounded by thousands of old photos—family, friends, and random art that told stories without words. I guess you could say that’s when the spark first hit me. Over the years, photography has grown from an interest to a hobby, a job, and now… something I genuinely can’t live without. It’s my escape, my therapy, and my peace.
Growing up in Mississippi played a huge role in shaping who I am creatively. I come from a place where we learned to turn nothing into something. Where imagination wasn’t just play—it was survival. That taught me how to see magic in the mundane. That childhood sense of wonder still lives in my work today. I carry it with me on every set, behind every lens, in every story I tell.
My passion lies in creating timeless visuals—moments that feel alive, memories that last forever. Because at the end of the day, I don’t just want to take pictures. I want to preserve feeling, freeze meaning, and turn the ordinary into something unforgettable.

My wife "SYDNEE FLOYD" and son "ISAIAH FLOYD" are my everything — the reason I wake up with purpose and go to sleep with gratitude. In them, I see love, strength, and a future worth building every single day. They’re not just my family; they’re my heart, my peace, and my greatest blessing.

"Born from Mississippi roots and childhood dreams, I learned to turn nothing into something. My hands shape memories, my eye preserves emotion, and my soul turns moments into timeless art. This is more than creativity — this is survival turned into beauty."
